How Our Sharps Disposal Service Works
Our sharps disposal service employs single stream waste management. This means you can dispose of your waste sharps containers in the same box we provide for your general medical waste. No need to segregate or store sharps separately – it all goes in one box!
When your sharps container fills, simply seal it and place it in the medical waste box provided by BioServ. The quantity you can fit into one box will depend on the size of the sharps container you are using and what other wastes you have placed into the box. When you’re ready for a disposal, one of our technicians will come to your facility, seal and label your boxes and transport them to an EPA-approved autoclave facility for destruction.
